Choosing TOK Objects
This lesson helps students develop a clear strategy for selecting meaningful objects for their TOK Exhibition. Students will explore what makes an object "rich" in knowledge value by considering its connection to real-world contexts, its relevance to the chosen prompt, and its potential for deep analysis. Through guided examples, group discussions, and a checklist-based activity, students will learn how to justify their object choices with precision and purpose.
TOK Past Papers
This lesson focuses on teaching students how to construct clear, analytical, and well-supported arguments in both the TOK Essay and Exhibition. Students will learn how to develop claims, support them with strong examples, explore implications and assumptions, and consider counterclaims. Using model arguments and guided frameworks, students will practice moving from descriptive to evaluative writing while maintaining focus on the knowledge question.
